Barre Scholarship & Financial Aid Application

Please review the below descriptions of our scholarship and financial aid programs in order to understand their goals and to evaluate whether applying is appropriate for you.

Barre Scholarship 

For a maximum of one individual per cohort of the 125-hour Barre Teacher Training, a scholarship position is sponsored by re:form and BECYCLE Berlin. 

This scholarship is a partial award covering 75% of course tuition, and includes the program’s required 10 barre classes with BECYCLE & BEYOND studios. The award is intended to remove the primary financial barrier to becoming a movement instructor for a member of the community whose voice we feel moved to amplify.

Movement is an essential practice for everybody, and we believe that every body should find resonance in the voice of an instructor they can identify with. 

Supplemental Financial Aid

Limited financial aid sponsored by re:form may be available for this training, depending on cohort size as well as applicant merit and need.

This financial assistance is intended to bridge the gap between impossibility and participation for an individual who would otherwise not be able to undertake this training. We do not take lightly the financial commitment involved in beginning a career in movement instruction, and want to create better access to this deeply rewarding path by offering partial tuition relief to promising candidates when possible.

Part of the re:form ethos involves investing in enrichment of the fitness and movement industry. This financial aid is one way in which we aim to support those who feel the same way.

Please note that availability of financial aid spaces in our Pilates program is not guaranteed. We are a small business and run small trainings to allow each participant to receive maximal opportunities for mentorship. In order to sustain this model, financial aid can only be made available when cohort size and specifics allow.

All applicants are chosen based on clarity, precision, and attention to detail in written application, as well as financial need, familiarity with the chosen discipline, and clear expression of values and goals that positively contribute to both the applicant’s cohort and the future of the movement industry.
